Before your flight

  1. Enroll in or Register your Mabuhay Miles Number: Ensure you're enrolled in the Mabuhay Miles program to have your flight miles credited. For existing members, add your Mabuhay Miles to your booking during online check-in or at the check-in counter.

  

  1. Monitor Flight Status: Regularly check the status of your flight for any changes using PAL’s website.

  

  1. Review and Manage Booking: Check and modify your flight details as needed, including seat selections, meal options, and rebooking arrangements.

  

  1. Verify Travel Documents: Make sure all your travel documents, like passports, visas, and health certificates, are valid and meet destination requirements.

  

  1. eTravel Registration: Secure your travel plans by registering on the e-travel portal ahead of your flight, ensuring a safe and efficient travel environment for all passengers.

  

  1. Purchase Extra Services: Consider buying additional services such as travel insurance, special in-flight meals, and preferred seating.

  

  1. Check Baggage Allowance and Purchase Prepaid Bags: Review PAL’s baggage policies and purchase prepaid baggage options in advance to save on costs.

  

  1. Learn About Dangerous Goods Restrictions: Familiarize yourself with the rules regarding dangerous goods to ensure your luggage is compliant.

  

  1. Familiarize With Airport and Terminal Layout: Understand the layout of your departure airport and terminal for easier navigation on your travel day.

  

  1. Plan Airport Transportation: Organize how you'll get to and from the airport beforehand. If driving, look into parking options and fees.

  

  1. Request Special Handling: Inform PAL if you need special assistance, including services for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, those with medical conditions, or if you're traveling with infants or pets.

At the airport

  1. Arrive Early for Check-In: Ensure you're at the airport 3-4 hours before your flight for check-in and baggage drop-off.

  

  1. Prepare for Security Screening: Have your ID and boarding pass ready and comply with all security screening requirements.

  

  1. Head to Your Boarding Gate: Verify your gate assignment on your boarding pass and keep an eye on the Flight Information Display System for any updates.

  

  1. Follow Boarding Instructions: Please note that boarding gates might change, so please check the Flight Information Display at the gate regularly.

   

  1. Stay Informed About Flight Changes: Keep updated on any flight delays or cancellations and seek assistance or information as necessary.

  

  1. Navigate Through Transits Efficiently: Use airport signage to move between terminals or gates for connecting flights effectively.

  

  1. Utilize Customer Support: Reach out to airline staff and customer service desks for help with any airport-related issues.

During your flight

  1. Watch Safety Instructions: Pay close attention to the safety briefing and follow all crew instructions during the flight.

  

  1. Stay Seated in Assigned Seat: Occupy only the seat assigned to you, as indicated on your boarding pass.

After your flight

  1. Proceed to Transit Assistance if Necessary: Transit passengers needing help should go to the Transfer Desk.

  

  1. Collect Your Baggage: To collect your luggage, proceed to the designated baggage claim area assigned to your flight. Take a moment to inspect your bag for any irregularities before departing the airport. Since lots of bags can look similar, double-check that you're grabbing the right one.

  

  1. Report Any Baggage Issues: Immediately inform the Airport Baggage Assistance Desk of any problems with your luggage.

  

  1. Complete the Post-Flight Survey: Provide feedback on your experience by filling out the airline’s survey.
