Arriving in the Philippines If you are not covered by the travel ban above, please identify your traveler type and prepare documentary and other requirements in the guide below:

Passenger Type

Documentary and Other Requirements

(must be presented upon booking, check-in, and/or to the Immigration Officer upon arrival in the Philippines)
1. Filipino Nationals

  • Valid PH passport/

  • Identification Certificate as proof of recognition as Filipino Citizen/

  • Citizenship Retention & Reacquisition Act of 2003 Certificate under RA 9225
2. Balikbayan Under RA9174 Only nationals from NON-VISA REQUIRED countries under EO408:

-Former Filipino
-Foreign nationals traveling with Filipino/Former Filipino SPOUSE
-Foreign nationals traveling with Filipino/Former Filipino PARENT

For Former Filipino

  • Old PH passport; or 

  • Birth Certificate

 

Must be able to provide proof of filiation:

For Foreign Spouses, Traveling with Filipino/Former Filipino SPOUSE

  • Marriage Contract

Note: Effective 24 Dec 2021, a Filipino and Foreign Spouse with Same Sex Marriage shall be temporarily admitted.

 

For Foreign Children, Traveling with Filipino/Former Filipino PARENT

  • Birth Certificate
3. Foreign Nationals

Foreign national may enter the country without the need of Entry Exemption Document (EED), provided they comply with the immigration requirements, reflected to Travel Rules and Requirements page. 

 

Foreign nationals with valid and existing Entry Exemption Document (EED) issued prior April 01, 2022 may be allowed entry based on the IATF Resolution nos. 160-B, 160-D and 164-A
4. Visiting Forces Agreement - Military personnel joining the "Balikatan Exercise" (Passport and Visa Not Required)

1) Military ID

2) Travel Order

3) DFA Endorsement
